Third Wheel Cheese Co. specializes in farmstead and artisan cheeses from the northeast region. We work directly with over 40 farmers and producers from Virginia to Vermont to curate our collection of the finest domestic cheeses.

When Third Wheel launched in 2018, Philly area chefs were hungry for great local cheese, and the American artisan cheese movement was growing. We saw an opportunity to play an important role in the middle, and we can now say that our cheeses are in the tri-state area’s best restaurants, cheese shops and specialty stores. Wholesale distribution is the backbone of Third Wheel – enabling us to carry a large and varied assortment of cheeses.

Our love for the products and enthusiasm for sharing them led to us expand into retail. In the summer of 2023 we converted the front of our warehouse into a small cut-to-order cheese shop, and started offering cheese boards of all sizes.
